ooVoo at CES 2011
CES 2011 came and went in a blur! Sin City was the perfect back drop for the biggest tech event of the year, hosting thousands of journalists and bloggers, all with an appetite to find out about the next big thing, and, *ahem* enjoy themselves outside of the event.
ooVoo played a huge role at CES this year – even bigger than last year. With the launch of ooVoo Mobile , which leads the industry in terms of offering multi-party video chat communication on any device and any network, and utilizes the same quality standards that make ooVoo the preferred choice in video communications, we were expecting to be busy!
We also announced our partnership with Qualcomm. Combining our innovation in mobile video chat software with Qualcomm’s differentiated hardware – we’re talking about an HD video experience that is unsurpassed by the competition.
We were exceptionally honored to place among the top 10 finalists at the CES Mobile Apps Showdown . Out of 100 entries screened by a judging panel of industry experts, ooVoo Mobile was selected as one of the most innovative and exciting mobile apps at CES by a judging panel of industry experts. ooVoo received over 44,000 votes, finishing second in online voting, and was the only video conferencing firm selected as top 10 finalist.
