    Reason for no Linux version?

It's ridiculous to me that there is no Linux version of Oovoo and there is no plan to make one.... Why is that? Many people use Linux and Skype supports Linux, so why wouldn't you? It doesn't make much sense, and a few years ago you guys were working on it and now there is no plan to do it at all? Don't you want to please your customers? I simply do not understand, Thanks.

Hi Christa, As I wrote in the Linux thread, I have inside information that it is simply not worth for ooVoo to develope a Linux version.

Re: Reason for no Linux version?

ooVoo is already available for android which is build on top of linux... so why oh why dont they simply change it to work with basic linux installations ? is it that hard ? or is their some internal decision that stops the program being ported across to an ever growing platform that more and more people are adopting ?

Re: Reason for no Linux version?

Hi, Thanks for nothing! I will be deleting ooVoo from my three Android devices, six Ubuntu Linux machines (oh, I forgot no ooVoo for Linux) and one Windows partition. This is why the Big Two (Apple and Microsoft) are able to maintain control of the user O/S, because software developers like you will not give start-ups a chance to survive. It would be easy to port your apps to Linux. I will look to finding a user friendly open source code app to replace ooVoo. Bye!

Could you not give us a Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V Response? We didn't ask "will you support desktop Linux?", We asked you "why don't you support Desktop Linux?" What is it? "small marketshare"? It costs too much money? Give us a valid reason! We want to hear a better reason than "We don't support your platform of choice and abandon your favorite platform".
