    Is it possible to...

Let someone WATCH the OOVOO video chat without actually joining in the chat? I do a webshow using OOVOO and I'd like people to watch it but not necessarily join the call.

Also how many people can join in the video chat?

    Thanks!

    Live Broadcast ooVoo

It is not possible w/out an additional (free) software.

    For details see here: http://forum.oovoo.com/blogs/oovoo/archive/2008/03/26/stream-oovoo-live.aspx

Also, I've recently started using ProCaster.com which is great and also has a free version.

Yeah, that's what I have been trying. My only problem with that is my Ustream viewers can only hear me and not my other callers. I have checked under the audio options but the only choice is my microphone. Is there any way to make it hear my computer speakers and not just my microphone?

For example, I just watched the Glass Half Full show on Ustream and you had all your callers available to hear...how did you do that? That's EXACTLY what I need :-)

I just purchased a external soundcard. I am going to try it and see if I can route my combined audio of my mic and computer ausio into it. I'll post results later next week.

I used two computers...  :)  One was me as the moderator and host of the show.  The other was the moderator control panel and audio/video capture & broadcast.  All I did was route the audio on the broadcast PC from the headset jack into the mic jack...

email me at developer@oovoo.com if you want help.

That is a major problem with windows you can only select one default device at any one time.

I appreciate the concern which is been rose. The things need to be sorted out because it’s not about the individual but it can be with everyone.

Re: Is it possible to Live Broadcast ooVoo

Unfortunately today, that is not possible.  If you'd like to see it happen, please send a request to support@oovoo.com requesting live broadcast of ooVoo conversations.

Today, the only way to do it is to use a 3rd party live broadcast tool like uStream.tv or procaster.com
