    My advice would be to try using a regular webcam instead. Not all digital picture taking camera's like what you have ain't compatible with every video IM programs out there. Wink

     I, too, am attempting to use my SONY handycam and the ooVoo software doesn't see it. Like the others who posted before me, the camera works perfect on every other video application I use, including Skype. I know that your advice is to buy a webcam. Having said that, however, do you have any known issues with a FIREWIRE connection? How about Vista Ultimate 64 bit???

    Hi Just Pics,

    ooVoo Does not support firewire connections. You may be able to use a video card and take the video in as either NTSC or S-Video. Save the receipt on the video card, just in case.
