 new macbook pro, having trouble starting oovoo. the program simply cannot start, meaning i cannot even edit the preferences for the program. when i double click on oovoo, the thing does not even bounce in dock, just appears and disappears. Searched for a pluggin called cam cam x (googled oovoo problems), but i don't have that. Thanks.

As you mentioned, maybe something went wrong during the installation. We suggest that you remove ooVoo components (use Spotlight to search for ooVoo files and remove them). Afterwards, download and install the ooVoo for MAC version.

This seems to be a common problem with people with new macbook pro's...  did the spot light but it does not clear out the library prefs, so I did that manually.

It just bounces in the doc and never launches...

 after cleaning out the prefs, reinstall... still not working...

Please let us know which operating system you using and which ooVoo version (is it the new ooVoo version which was released on the Download page on Sept. 14th).
