Hi! I'm on a Dell Inspirion 1520 with Windows Vista. When I start or accept a chat invitation, the application freezes for a minute, and then crashes. It does this every time. I've tried removing and reinstalling. When someone sends me a web-video link, I can join the chat, but there's either no sound or no video or both. I got ooVoo to work once, but I haven't been able to get it to work again after that at all!! HELP! d

if any security problem...

I closed my internet antivivirus program but no change..

ı can use webcam with differnt computer and see another cam.

bu t when ı share my desktop or another computer share his or her desktop sharing option my oovoo freeze and no response...

then ı must restart oovoo...

is there any solution..

my operating system Vista x64 Ultimate

Q6600 Core2 Quad 2.4Ghz

4GB ram

But what OS is your friend using. And what exactly is it your trying to do. You haven't given much information as to what your trying to do with oovoo.

 

my friend OS is XP.

I can use  webcam option and see my friend on his webcam.

But if ı open Desktop sharing option, black screen comes and oovoo  freze. after 5 secons program closed without any error. If my friend share his Desktop sama thing happens too. 

If I use my laptop which OS is XP there is no problem at Desktop Sharing with my friend. 

there should be  some settings in OS which connection between XP&Vista ultimate and open desktop sharing.. but what is it?

 Have a look in your Vista firewall or security settings to allow connectivity.

There are two issues running in this message: The first issue is of ooVoo crashing when someone connects to someone else. The second issue is ooVoo crashing when Desktop sharing is used.

For the crash during connection, please enter a Support Request about this issue here: http://support.oovoo.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4244

ooVoo creates a crash log which would be of interest to us. It is located here: C:\Program Files\ooVoo and it is a file named .dmp. It is rather large (over 100K) so I am wondering how you can send it to me.

For the crash during Desktop Sharing, I would like the crash logs and also I would like to know what graphics card/video card you have installed.
