    some questions

     Hi

I had some questions about ooVoo for mac.

    1. Will it provide at least 640x480 resolution
    2. How can I get high quality video setting to appear?  Is there a way I could try this feature out before buying it?
    3. Will a fireware dv cam work
    4. Will usb audio in work?
    5. With the bandwidth have a steady throughtput?
    6. And if I purchase this, is there any commitment?
    Thanks.

    Re: some questions

    Hi,

    These are great questions!

    Does ooVoo support 640x480 resolution?
ooVoo does not fully support this low resolution. We found that 800x500 works better but is not perfect. Each monitor is different and you can try to find the resolution which is best for you.

How can I get the high quality video setting to appear?
Your computer's hardware needs to support high quality video (2GB processor and 2GB memory).

Is there a way I could try this high quality feature out before buying it?
This feature is offered in during the first 30 days after creating an ooVoo account and in the paid plans.

Will a fireware dv cam work? Will usb audio in work?
    Yes.

Will the bandwidth have a steady throughput?
It depends on your Internet line. If you do not have enough bandwidth during a video call, ooVoo has special mechanisms to preserve the audio quality and to provide the best possible experience.

If I purchase this, is there any commitment?
High quality video is available in the plans. If you are not satisfied, you do not have to renew the monthly subscription.

I hope this is helpful and thank you for your interest,
    ooVoo Marv

    Re: some questions

Hmm I just signed up for an account but in the drop down there is no high video quality option.

    Re: some questions

Sorry...I realized I dont' have a 2.0 Ghz processor.  probably why I don't get the high quality setting.
