    Re: MAC alpha test

hey guys and gals, i have a mac mini with a logitech quickcam fusion. under the settings for oovoo, I do not see any additonal settings for microphone, so that I can select "usb webcam" as an option for the microphone. also tonight, when I tried it for the first time, while I was trying to alter the settings for the microphone, the application froze on me, and there was no way for me to shut off the program. and i have to force quit in order to shut off ooVoo.

stranger yet, after that so called "crash" on my Mac, I had tried to switch to my PC and see if I can get it to work, no go, and it said that there is no internet connection for me. i then restart my mac, went back on and try there, and I get the same error. would the server on ooVoo's end recognize my IP address when I was hunged on, and is there a scenario that my IP address is being stuck on the ooVoo server, that I cannot log back in? nothing else is wrong with my internet, other than ooVoo from this point on. I am now, unable to log into either PC or Mac version of ooVoo. if someone can provide some insights on this, I would greatly appreciate it. ideally, I would like to use my Mac to use ooVoo, versus the PC version. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Truls,

Thanks for your question. Please don't worry about keeping current with the updates. When ooVoo comes out with a required update, you will be prompted to download it at login.

    Best Regards,
    ooVoo Dave

    Re: MAC alpha test

I go to log out of my account and put my MAC to sleep. All apears to be well, but on at least three occasions i have come back to find my account still open with a message saying ooVoo cancelled my logout. This is not acceptable and I need to find an answer quickly otherwise I will have to delete ooVoo.

That happens to me even with skype, ti's not ooVoo fault. when you are logged into some programs, and you have into the preferences that it ahs to ask you to log out, this happens

    Blue Image

Hi, I've just started using ooVoo, and my image looks mostly blue. I tried a lamp in a different place, checked that I'm not blue in PhotoBooth, (which I'm not). I'm on a Intel iMac with built in iSight camera.

    Any suggestions?

Excuse me, I have a question to you as working with ooVoo Mac version or develop-team! When have you think to the next update for Mac OSX? I think best that you are now soon update such that we can say more about the new bugs or do better for Mac OSX version because all say the same problem again and again and we are waiting long to the next update. I see not different than before. I am sorry for I say this. But I mean NOW that team must now working more about these problems and only update more/often and trying, not waiting to all is perfect!

    HD Man,

Thank you for reporting this to us:

"I go to log out of my account and put my MAC to sleep. All apears to be well, but on at least three occasions i have come back to find my account still open with a message saying ooVoo cancelled my logout".

This will be fixed in the next version.
