Hi,

I am pleased to announce that we just released a new Beta version (ooVoo version 2.2.3.14 for Windows appears at the bottom of the page). It includes a new audio/video wizard to fine tune your equipment.

At the same time we have expanded our pay-per-use phone service to include many more international destinations (available in all ooVoo versions but you may need to sign-out and then sign-in again). In Europe we added France and Russia, in the Middle East we added Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, in the Far East we added China and India and in South America we added Brazil.

Hi Marv, Just so your aware of this minor problem, the posted (Beta version) Link doesn't direct you to Beta version at all ???

If you click on the Download page and scroll down, you should see the Beta version (see attached).

I forgot to mention that the new version enables desktop sharing and high resolution video as pay-per-use features as opposed to using a plan. Obviously there are many other great things in this version but I think these are the main items of interest.

Ah...I see. Obviously some users will be using a small form factor screen size e.g netbook or mini notebook screen size limitation in their browser ultimately wouldn't have noticed that you have to scroll down to view the beta link.

Hey Marv, I have been using the new ooVoo beta for a couple of days now and must say WOW! Huge improvement in audio quality and there is now no need to use a headset. Tested on both laptop and desktop PC's without a headset and there was no echo at all. Audio sounded fantastic. I highly recommend Wndows users try the beta.
