    OOVOO WONT DOWNLOAD TO MY COMPUTER

    WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL THE NEW UPDATED VERSION 2.3.0.0 it keeps saying installation error before it even starts to download...what do i do??

    Hi Xclusive,

    Make sure that you are logged into your computer as an Administrator and that you have the user permissions necessary to install software on this PC.  Once you are signed in as an Administrator, try the download again.

    I am having the same problem Xclusive is having, everytime i try to log in there's and upgrade message to upgrade to version 2.8.0 ? and when i click upgrade it says upgrade error before it even begins to upgrade. What should I do ?

    Hi Paulie,

    As mentioned above for an eariler version upgrade problem: Make sure that you are logged into your computer as an Administrator and that you have the user permissions necessary to install software on this PC.  Once you are signed in as an Administrator, try the download again.

     I dont know how to sign in as an Administrator  it justwont let me -___-

    hi , i download oovoo and run the installer, but while its installing it opens up the ovoo download page. so i close that page and it says ovoo has finished installing click finish to close the installer and launch oovoo. i click finish nd wait for it to open but it doesnt. then i search my laptop and oovoo is nowhere to be found. i had oovoo on this laptop be4 but i uninstalled it and ever since then i havent been able to get it to install again. please help!!!!

    Hi Laporsha,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I am sorry to hear that ooVoo you are unable to install ooVoo.

    Please restart your PC and try installing from our website once more. Make sure you select to 'RUN' and not 'Save' the installer.
    If that still does not work please continue.

    1.) Please make sure that you are signed into your computer as an Administrator who has the user permissions necessary to download and install software.

    2.) Please try installing ooVoo using the file in the link below.

    http://cdn01.oovoo.com/download/ooVooSetup.msi

    Please note that this installation uses default settings and when it's finished, ooVoo will not be started automatically. Simply double-click on the ooVoo shortcut created on your desktop to start ooVoo.

    3.) If you had ooVoo previously installed on your computer, try uninstalling it first and then re-installing it:
    1. Uninstall ooVoo (Start>Control Panel>Add/remove programs)
    2. Restart the computer
    3. Download and install ooVoo from the website
    4.) If you are not able to uninstall ooVoo, perform the following steps first:
    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Click Run (for Win 7 - type RUN and click Enter)
    3. Copy and paste the following to the Run field: C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information
      If you are running a 64bit Windows version, use the following path: C:\Program Files(x86)\InstallShield Installation Information
    4. Click OK
    5. A new window will be opened - please delete/rename all the items in this window
    6. Uninstall ooVoo (Start>Control Panel>Add/remove programs)
    7. If you receive the message again that ooVoo is supported, please provide me with a screen shot.
