Will ManyCam Virtual Webcam be able to play on ooVoo in the future? Just wondering...

The new version of ooVoo, due out early next year, will include a variety of features that I understand will offer a similar experience to using Manycam. As I find out more, and as we get closer to release, we'll provide more details.  Thanks for the question.

Manycam is one of those camera effects application sharing program that I use as well.  

But from what I can understand what you have written above it appears to me that that your next oovoo version 1.5 may have some unique effects capability builtin.  Am I correct in that assumption? that would be cool too. :D

Very astute Fortra. Before I lead you down the wrong path, I'll confirm what's coming and post an update hopefully early next week.

I am very impressed with the new version that was released. I had a very long video chat converstion with a few friends on oovoo, trying out its various features.

I also gave the new ooVoo 1.5 a hammering last night. Lots of very handy new features and I think in general, most ooVoo users will be impressed. (although I can hear the "Smiley" supporters asking where are they...lol)

The recording feature works well. Now I just need your very stylish ooVoo player code so I can embed on my website. Shame we can't try out the Telephony feature here in Australia yet. 

 Yes i also gave the new features a hiding last night with The Boss and found them to be great

i will be looking forward to using them again every friday and saturday night in our usual get together ( piss up )

and general carry on with lots of laughs and sometimes tears of joy . so till then play safe  and keep pushing oovoo to all your

friends  

Glad you guys are enjoying the new features. Feel free to share your thoughts with us - its your feedback that has encouraged us to add the features you see today, and has the development team working on new features for future releases.

I know this post will have gone slightly off topic.

Although I'm tempted to ask, about what those future releases and what will those new ideas or releases entail. But that would be letting the cat out of the bag too early I guess, so I won't ask ! ... Like so many of us that have a curious mind, we like to be kept on our toes wanting more, from what I have seen so far currently one can't go wrong using oovoo as your #1 skype alternative.
