Why not out to all countries FROM USA? and Free?

    Why not out to all countries FROM USA? and Free?

    Hey! I just downloaded this because a friend overseas wants to use it with me. Now I see two things I wasn't expecting.

    1. Being that I am in the USA I am limited to calls to the USA and Canada. Why can other places call me but I can't call them?

    2. I thought this was free, but now I'm reading the calls are only free till April 2008. What's up with that?

    We are currently in Beta and are trialling new features including free phone calls - we have initially introduced the free phone test in the U.S. only. We will open up the phone feature to allow more countries in due course.

    Well i started using Oovoo today and i've jsut read in the forum that free calls will start in april... im living in canada and i've got 2 calls : one from Lebanon and one from UK... how much will i be charged?  And when exactly will the free phone calls be opened to the other countries?

    Hi Mjz_91,

    It's pretty clear to me, the above post I mean. Read and study it closely again !

    They will post further details when they have completed trials on this soon to be added feature. So stay tuned and watch the forum. Wink
