Re: problem of java to the starting of oovoo

I'm having problems too. After install, the application is just a folder without the proper access permissions (a folder with a red circle and a line though it icon in the lower right). If I fix the permissions manually (remove user "_unkown" and add myself and the admin users) and attempt to open it, it says it's unable to open because it doesn't support the architecture. Running Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz, with 10.5.2 and all of the software updates installed Any ideas?

I have another problem I opened my old copy of oovoo (1.0.0.1), it prompted me to update, which I did. After it was done, it tried to open it and received this error: Uncaught exception in main method: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: os/coders/video/ON26Codec

To install oovoo on the desk and to start the program then glisseer it in applications. It seems y to have a problem of authorization so that it starts in applications macbook Pro intel core 2 duo 10.5.2

Re: problem of java to the starting of oovoo

I had this problem too.   It was giving me a zeroKB ooVoo.app package in m Applications directory.

I had to go into the oovooinstaller.pkg file (show contents of package) and manaually extract the contents of the Archive..pax.gz

This gave me the actual ooVoo.app package which runs fine.  Seems there is a bug in their installer package.

I also had issues upgrading from the early alpha verison, 1.0.0.1, but a remove of the application and a clean instal seems to correct the issue.

I got the same problem as you before, but now it work because of a solution! Try this solution: Install ooVoo on the Desktop, not in “Applications” and after that drag & drop into Application folder. Let me know if this fixed things. This is a bug. But they will fix it quick as possible. Have a nice day! :o)

That seems to work fine.   easier than ripping the package apart like I did the first time around :)
