Installing oovoo on my Mac trashed all my startup items

I saw this problem listed in an earlier thread, but thought it deserved its own topic.  I have no idea what applications were in my startup items but I do know that oovoo trashed them, leaving it as the only startup item. I now have to go about figuring out what to reinstall as startups.  This is extremely annoying and should be fixed immediately!

replying here also because has a better title, new users are most likely to look here first. so, the fix, at least for me, deselect "start ooVoo when OS starts." hope this helps someone, Alex

This is exactly what happen to me. Completely trashed my Startup Items. In the lab this is acceptable. As a public beta this is frightening.

Yep, me too. It's easy enough to go to system preferences>>accounts>>login items and put them back, but that's not the point.

I was looking at ooVoo to replace Skype for a simple video conferancing solution within my company, but I won't keep reloading my login items everytime I test ooVoo.

It seems to wipe out the login items even if you load load the app.

    Not good...

We are in the final testing phase for the next ooVoo Mac and we plan to release it in the next few weeks (by the end of the month).

That's good news. I'll hold off testing until then.

Thanks for the quick reply, and timescales.
