I have been having ongoing problems with the built in mic on a Logictech Ultravision Webcam for Mac. I am connecting to Windows users who get my sound breaking up. When I use the mic test it always fails when used as "unkown microphone" I tried changing setting in Sound Prefs with no luck. I thought it might be feedback from the speakers on my IBook G4 running Tiger so I plugged in a Earphone to the jack on the computer. That didn't work. I have tried 5 different webcams with no success. This my last webcam to try, figuring thaT, WHEN IT SAYS FOR MAC IT WOULD WORK.
I've even tried Sightspeed to see if it was program related. No luck
Anybody have a suggestion outside of using Windows, which works fine.
