I live in the south of France, and I tried the video chat with my daughter in California for the first time. We both were thrilled with the clarity of the image and voice. The only minor challenge was a slight delay in the transmission of the voice and I could hear my voice coming from her mike, but I don't think those are ooVoo's  fault.   Earlier I had sent recorded videos, and they arrived at their destination without a hitch. I'm using a new iMac.

So, for  me, I am extremely happy with my ooVoo experience.

 Me too! I'm using a brand new imac and it was wonderful to find a hassle-free way to connect to my boyfriend in Canada who has a PC. Thank you so much, please don't go away! (like too many good things do)

PS to StaninFrance: If you use a USB headset it will eliminate the echo.

Thanks for the suggestion re: earphones.

 I have purchased a pair of MicroSoft LifeChat LX-3000. They are comfortable. I hope they work well.
