cant see other webcams when video chatting

I can connect to someone in a video chat, they can see me and hear me fine, i can hear them, but the video screens are blank. i cannot see either them nor me. when i switch to side view i can see everyone fine but again the main "big" view wont show any video. anybody have any ideas??

Oovoo won't open

Oovoo was working and then it froze, when I restarted it wouldn't open. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but It still won't open.

Does anybody know whats wrong? and how to fix it?

I went to ooVoo.com to download the software, but when I did on google chrome I got this “Oops! This link appears to be broken. ” When I went on Firefox It brought me to www.fastbrowsersearch.com and showed results as if I searched ooVoo. When I tried safari I got this “Safari can’t open the page “http://oovoo.com/” because it can’t find the server “oovoo.com”.” When I did download the software on a different website, I clicked create new account, but when I did I got this “sorry, due to a communication problem ooVoo could not create your account.” So I went on my moms computer, and everything worked fine, website worked, created a account with no problem. So I have come to the conclusion that something on my computer is stopping/blocking ooVoo from working. I have no idea on what it could be; I tried disabling my firewall and such, no luck. Thanks

oovoo is not starting now which was happening earlier.

However, if I reinstall, oovoo starts for the first time only and I could login. But if i close the application and double click on my oovoo icon, it is not starting.

What may be the problem?

It's like the mirror image of what its supposed to be and it's bothering me. Anyone know how to fix this?

For some odd reason i used Live Cam Avatar and i have the option of being 4 different pictures. Now they will not let me take it off but only change avatars. No one on video chat can see me!! How do i take it off??

I took a picture during a chat and I realize that it sets it as the persons new default picture, but where can I find a bigger higher resolution image of that picture? Thanks

Full screan or new window ?

I have question, did i can somehow open my friend window when i talk with him on full screan or even to other window, not with this big window of conversation ? Its make me crazy because i use skype for long time but now when i hear about "ooVoo" i was suprise, very good quality and very fast everything , i start use this program :) - but this one problem with window make me crazy, i need open with full screan... Somebody tell me how i can do this ?

I can not connect to oovoo. i have tried everything including making sure i have no proxies, making sure i have no firewall blocking oovoo and also making sure i have connection to my internet. i have tried everything that oovoo dave told me to check so far and still no luck:(. i have a netbook that uses the same connection i use so i know its not a connection issue. i have the time correct and my computer is fully updated. i have malawarebytes and i also have Kaspersky antivirus and i made it so kaspersky does not do anything to oovoo. i used to be able to go on oovoo on this computer. this computer is a windows xp hp pavillion a1620n computer. one night about a week ago i ran a malawarebytes scan and the next day oovoo did not work. i checked the logs and it did not say anything about oovoo. i have checked all the settings of oovoo and i have even reinstalled it a couple times just to try to get it to work. please help me fix oovoo guys!

every time i sign in oovoo crashes

Im running a laptop with Windows XP, im not sure what info i need to post to diagnose this problem, but what is happening is that almost everytime i sign into oovoo it tries loading up and such and then it suddenly signs out and exits. I have tried doing a report but no one has got back to me on it.

I uncheck the option in toolbar - not work.

I even uninstall the whole toolbar and oovoo itself - still not work!!

Everytime I type a wrong address I am taken to the stupid "http://urlseek40.vmn.net/search.php" page!!!

My FireFox is literally hijacked!!!

Audio problems on Windows 7

I don't know if this problem has been addressed yet but I've been having problems with the audio on Win 7. It seems that I can see people but can't hear them. Yet, they can see and hear me. Do you know what's wrong? I've tried all the possible solutions proposed by ooVoo Dave but none of them seem to work. My default speaker is set to the Windows Default Device. I can also set it to Speaker/Headphone (SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC) but that doesn't seem to solve my problem either. When I look at the volume equalizer I can see the volume going from high to low as if sound is being made, but I can't hear the actual sound.

hi! I just got a new video message and was notified by email, but when I logged into oovoo it showed no new messages in my inbox. I can view the video online but for some reason I can't access it directly through my oovoo account? can someone tell me how to fix this, because I'd really like the save the message!

Calls won't connect

Me and my girlfriend just downloaded Oovoo because we heard that it had great call quality. We were eager to test it out but our calls never connect, no matter who calls who. I searched the fourm and tech support page and found no answers so this is pretty much my last effort. Any help is appreciated

oovoo was working perfect when I was running vista...I upgraded to windows 7 on 10/26 and oovoo will not sign in. Once it starts to sign in the program freezes up. I have deleted and re-installed it 3 times. I know that my yahoo messenger works since the upgrade. I need help I like oovoo way better than yahoo!!! Please any insight would be appreciated... ive had oovoo on my computer for a while and it worked fine

but one day i came on and it said that i should update it, so i did

but then it said it wouldnt work so i have to abort, so i did

but then when i went to go click on oovoo it saidd "if you click this your shortcut to oovoo will be deleted, would you like to do this?" and then yes or no

so i tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it but the shortcuts are still there but if i click on it, its like nothing is there and it wont let me reinstall it,

someone please help, i go on oovoo all the time and i really need it!

Oovoo keeps disconnecting/signing out when signed in (not on a call)

Keeps disconnecting every couple of minutes or so. This is before I even attempt to do a call. I am trying to connect from Israel using the ISP Internet Zahav. I have measured my connection speeds to the US at 3.7mbps download, 700kbps upload. I used it sucessfully from a different apartment in Israel that used Bezeq as the ISP but was MUCH slower - 1.5mbps. I have used other bandwidth intensive applications with no problems whatsoever. Any thoughts?

up to show that I am online like your client version for desk tops does. Is their a code that I need to use to make this light up to show I'm online?

Upgrade/Installation failure: "The installed version of the application could not be determined" message

I've had oovoo on my computer for a while, worked fine. However, I recently tried logging on again and a window popped up asking me to upgrade to the newest version, I hit upgrade and then a screen came up with the red X that said "The installed version of the application could not be determined. The application will now terminate" to which the only thing I could do was to hit ok.

I then uninstalled it completely off my computer thinking I'd just reinstall it again, but now whenever I reinstall it, it'll get to the Oovoo install wizard, almost finish loading, and the box will appear again.

What's going on and how can i fix this?

Using ooVoo in Java Application

I am new to ooVoo, I would like to use ooVoo Client API in my Java Application. I have downloaded the ooVoo Client API. It is coming with sample C++ code. Is there any sample code to integrate ooVoo in java applications just to start with?
