But I downloaded it sometimes last fall and just looked around. I was using a different phone/video chat program at the time, but wasnt really happy with the quality.

My handsome King works in a different country. At the time he was in Baghdad Iraq and staying in touch via internet is essential. I told him about ooVoo and he downloaded it also. We were both impressed by the sleek design of it. Both being gadget lovers we played around with ooVoo and quickly it became our personal messenger. Every day after work we would connect on ooVoo and talk about all thats happened during the day. Of course, him being where he was at, his stories were a lot more interesting than mine. What really amazed both of us, how stable the connection was at all times. Him sitting in the middle of Iraq with power cuts and internet problems being very common, ooVoo and not the other supposedly big, fancy programs.....well ooVoo was really very reliable and fantastic to use.

I look back now on all the nights we spent together, even though we were seperated by thousands of miles. We slept together with ooVoo being connected. Blissfully happy, listening to him snore through the night. I didnt snore, of course not, girls dont snore! We spent xmas together on ooVoo. Spent a beautiful New Years Eve together on ooVoo. Brought in the new year first in Iraq and then in my country. I was able to let him watch the fireworks with the video function. We spent days and nights on ooVoo. When your mate is in a war torn country, facing danger every day, being able to stay in touch on a daily basis is so very important.

Through ooVoo we were able to share our dreams and wishes. Expressed our fears and our not so perfect pasts. We used the time to learn about each other so much. And we had so much fun. My worries were blown into the wind every night when I would sign in and he would show up. ooVoo has brought us closer together than ever before. No longer did we have to deal with dropped calls and bad connections. His tour lasted longer than we had expected and throughout the entire tour ooVoo was like a trusted friend to us. But I must say, some nights we could hear other people in our connection. Some arabs talking, and we would laugh about it.

Today, he is again in Iraq. But sadly, the internet connection is very bad at the camp. And ooVoo is not working right for him. We both miss it so much. We were so close together, even though there were so many miles inbetween us. Deployment makes for a lonely time, but we were able to stay in touch daily, using ooVoo. We still talk about it now, hoping that one day we can use ooVoo together again. To us its like a home where we can meet. Where my worries are gone for the time being. Where his desire to see me and speak with me is fullfilled.

ooVoo played a big role in forming the bond between me and him. We were at the beginning of our relationship and still getting to know each other. Now, even though we cant speak as much as we like to, that bond we formed before, is what is keeping us together. And keeping us strong. We miss ooVoo and hopefully soon we can use it again.

Bringing together two people in love, seperated by so many miles. Thanks ooVoo! All those nights being able to sleep together while being connected, really mean so much to us. The sound quality is amazing. We always felt as if we were sharing a bed and not an internet connection. We were able to spend lazy sundays together. Watching each other curled up in bed.....doing nothing but relax together.

Nights on ooVoo......keeping us together, regardless of the distance.......I love my ooVoo!
