whenever i try to use the webcam effects max the application crashes, i have uninstalled it and then reinstalled it but to no avail..please help

Here are some generic instructions on how to install the correct version of WebcamMax:

To Download WebcamMax:

Start a video conversation. Please click on the dropdown menu on YOUR video picture in the upper left corner. Choose "Download Video Effects". When you are done downloading, click on the same dropdown menu and start the video effects. Keep in mind that the video effects are very CPU intensive and there can be a momentary freeze of your video when loading webcamMax affects. This should only be temporary.

 ive tryed that an i dont have have that on my video chat 

 do i need to update my oovoo

Sorry, that post is from 2009 and we have not supplied video effects for a year. Try your webcam manufacturer and see if they supply them and how to run them.
