I'm no techie, but I know some stuff that you can do. 1) Restart your computer then try to download it agian. 2) Talk to tech support of oovoo? 3) Post a thread like I did, wait like a business day, and then you will probably have a response. 4) Check your internet connection? 5) Download the other version? Ex. you have a mac, download pc version, and vice versa, I heard this might work...

A "Failed to Sign in" error message usually means a firewall is blocking your connection to ooVoo. The firewall can be on your computer or on your (wireless) router.

"Access Denied" usually means that you are not signed into your computer as an Administrator, and that you do not have the user permissions necessary to download and onstall software on this computer. Have the owner sign you in as them andthem download ooVoo.

    Hey, hi there! :)

I've had ooVoo for a couple of months now and have never had a problem with it. Now, however, when I go to sign in, it sits on the signing in screen for a multitude of minutes 10+ and then comes up with the error of "Failed to sign in, please wait.."

My internet router has been reset, I've restarted my computer, checked for updates, everything. Help??

    Hi lizzy,

The problem was caused by an outage of the oovoo servers, just be patient until it's been seen to by engineers !

Just to clear things up, when lissy had connection problems, everyone else suffered too. The problem was oovoo server outage due to maintenence I do believe.

Everything is working back to normal currently.  Yes

Please perform the following changes in your ooVoo client application:

    Hi Leather,

If you cannot go to certain websites try this:

    • From the File menu go to Settings
    • Move to Connection tab
    • Uncheck the 'Use port 443 as an alternative for incoming connections' checkbox and save the changes
    • Restart your computer

Please let us know if you can now browse the other websites. If not try rebooting your router or modem

    Best regards,

    ooVoo Dave
