Oovoo camera not working on iPad 2

    Oovoo camera not working on iPad 2

    I just downloaded oovoo app on my iPad 2. I can see and hear others however, others can only hear me. They can NOT see me. What am I doing wrong? I checked my settings. Please help! Thanks, N

    Hi Nicole,

    Thanks for contacting us, sorry you're having problems with your mobile app. A few suggestions:

    1)Android Mobile user:

    • Are you are on the most current mobile version? To confirm, go to your phone Settings>Manage applications>Select ooVoo, and if it says UPDATE, please update your version. If it says Installed you are good.
    • Completely exit out of ooVoo and restart your phone; this may also resolve your problem
    • If your call participants are not seeing your video be sure you are using the Front camera. From ooVoo go to Settings>Application Settings and select Front Camera
    • If you are sending black video it could be a network issue; we recommend trying your call from a different network or location and see if it makes a difference
    • If you are on with a PC user, they must be upgraded to ooVoo Version 3.0.4 or higher; if they are not on 3.0.4 they will not see your video during a video call or the video could be oriented sideways.  Send them this download page: http://www.oovoo.com/Download.aspx

    2) iOS Mobile user:

    • Are you are on the most current mobile version? To confirm, go to your phone App Store>Updates>Select ooVoo, and if it says UPDATE, please update your version. If it says Installed you are good.
