When you ran the installation of oovoo you would have been given a dialog warning box about adding a tool bar to your browser it would have given you a option of YES or NO. If you had clicked NO then it wouldn't have installed the tool bar.
I think you can still uninstall the tool bar it might be listed with in your control panel add and ...

When you have activated a call with someone on oovoo. You can just pause (stop) video from streaming live from your webcam.

Just so your know you had incorrectly written the oovoo site link wrong. You missed out www before.oovoo, So it should be http://www.oovoo.com.

Within the Live Cam software for your webcam there should be an option to turn the avatars off. Alternatively you can set your oovoo cam settings to access your webcam directly without any effects showing.

In order to use a wireless IP camera with oovoo you have to use 3rd party camera capture driver program.

Ah...I see. Obviously some users will be using a small form factor screen size e.g netbook or mini notebook screen size limitation in their browser ultimately wouldn't have noticed that you have to scroll down to view the beta link.
