Are these pics of emoticons in ooVoo text chat real or just a mock up?

Hey Marv, I have been using the new ooVoo beta for a couple of days now and must say WOW! Huge improvement in audio quality and there is now no need to use a headset. Tested on both laptop and desktop PC's without a headset and there was no echo at all. Audio sounded fantastic. I highly recommend Wndows users try the beta.

Just wanted to say well done on doing a deal with Lenovo on having ooVoo pre-installed on their machines. It's about time PC makers realized there IS a high quality multi person video conferencing software available such as ooVoo. Maybe a quiet word to Steve Jobs over at Apple next. :)

[quote user="h2ofun"] Until this feature is enabled, how you tried using ustream? You could stream this out, and have folks send you questions.

Hi Perry, you can make your own overlays and use programs like ManyCam (PC) or Camtwist (Mac) to add these to ooVoo.

Make sure ManyCam is running before launching ooVoo. Once ooVoo is running go to setting and choose ManyCam as the video source.

Hey guys, after chatting with quite a few people we have all decided it would be a good idea to have some for notification on a user if they are in another video call. Currently if inviting users into a chat it will just disconnect straight away. There is no way of knowing if a user is in a call. Anyone else like the idea?

To use the effects in Camtwist, you must launch Camtwist before signing into ooVoo. Once you sign into ooVoo, choose Camtwist as the video source. Hope this helps.

It's nice to see the Mac & PC versions of ooVoo on par with each other now. I have been using the new Mac version quite a bit and have found it to be very stable. Great to have all the Windows features now appearing on the Mac. Everything just works.
