ooVoo can only be installed in the c:/ directory. The software does not let you choose another install location.

It sounds like the ooVoo program is crashing after you sign in. This is usually the case if the icon disappears when you mouse over it. I would do all my Windows updates (START / ALL PROGRAMS / WINDOWS UPDATE) and then try reinstalling again.
