  • Re: Please explain

This is a very cool problem... I don't see how it could even happen, but if someone can explain it, and make it happen consistently, it would be an extremely useful "feature".

  • Re: Problème de son

If you have both the Logitech Camera Drivers and the Logitech QuickCam Application Software which came with the camera installed, this kind of sound problem can be caused by the QuickCam application software.  The simple way to find out if this is the problem is to exit the QuickCam software before starting ooVoo - go to the camera icon in ...

  • Re: Problème de son

Is this still a problem?  If so, exactly what kind of webcam are you using, and what software for it do you have installed?

  • Re: Audio issues during Multi Video Sessions

I sympathize with you, I have similar problems when my partner and I chat with my brothers. You mention that you do not have similar problems with Skype multiaudio chats - but do you use the webcam microphones for those chats?  In my experience the majority of webcam mics are truly horrible, both for audio quality and echo.  Even ...

  • Re: is this forum only for the beauty???

Sorry to be late in posting a reply to this... I would just like to say that I find the situation here with ooVoo to be the exact opposite of Skype, both in terms of technical support and the user forums.  Skype users have absolutely no hope of getting any kind of rational answer from their "technical support", and therefore are ...

  • Re: Core 2 Duo CPU 2.5 Ghz 3 Gb ram shows as "weak CPU detected"

Hmmm.  First off, it would be interesting to know (from ooVoo) if this message is based on some sort of recognition of the actual CPU (which I doubt), in which case you would be correct, it might just be not recognizing your newer CPU, or if it is based on system load / CPU performance, in which case it could be detecting a load problem on ...

  • Re: Main window suggestion

Sorry to be so late in commenting on this... one thing pushes out another, they say...   Have you looked at the "favorites bar" display?  It isn't to my personal liking, but it certainly fits your criteria, it is much more narrow than the standard main window.

  • Re: Camera Compatability?

Hi Fortra, I have both an SPC1300 and an SPC900.  If you would like to test with me, feel free to give me a call - I have PM'd you my ooVoo id. To be honest, the biggest difference I see between them is that the 1300 has a much wider angle lens, and thus a much wider field of vision, than the 900. The 900 seems to have significantly ...

  • ooVoo, with video, from the TRAIN!

I was (text) chatting with ooVoo Dave yesterday, telling him about the new Logitech QuickCam 11.7 release, when I had to leave the office to catch the bus.  Once on the bus, I fired up the laptop, connected using my Sierra Wireless GSM card, and resumed the conversation.  Dave suggested that we try a video chat over the GSM/HSDPA modem ...

  • Re: ooVoo 1.5 release - what are your thoughts?

You don't say explicitly what kind of call you are making, but there's good news no matter what it is... the best news is that there are no hidden fees for ooVoo calls.   - If you are making computer-to-computer ooVoo video (or audio) calls, there are never any charges for it - If you are making dial-out calls to phones, either ...
