Web API Video Recording

Hi All

I develop adult dating web site, i plan to use oovoo to voice and video chat option for my members.

I wonder is it possible to record video (my member instruction video) with web API? I host (store) recorded file to show my members.

I can explain in detail in detail if you ask

"displayName" property used to set the display name and not to get it.

You can use REST URL (https://api.oovoo.com/rooms/<roomID>/videoCalls) that returnes XML with a list of room instances with all the users that are currently active (including the display name of each user).

Dynamically adding the web widget

Hi,

I would like to dynamically add the widget to the page (e.g. only when clicking a button, a new layer with the widget will show up), but I can't find a way to do it.

If I call CreateRoom() after the page is loaded, the widget takes up the whole page. I also noticed you are using document.write to add the applex/activeX to the page, which is usually supported only on page-load but not afterwards.

Relative size for the web api widget + a suggestion

I'm embedding the widget in a resizeable popup window. I tried setting the roomProps.width/height properties to 100%, but only the background resizes when I resize the browser window. How can I make this work?

A suggestion - I would really prefer to be able to place the integration script outside of the body tag. It's cleaner and easier to maintain. It would be nice to add another property to the Roon object that would the id or reference of the page element that would hold the widget. That would make for a better separation of code and content.

ooVoo Web page widget

Hi There

I have been intrested in setting up a web page widget on my web site which visitors can use to log into ooVoo and convers with other people on my web site. I have looked at the API Application for a web page and although it works on the download test on my laptop It does not seem to work on my web page. Has anyone tried to install the web app on their site?

If so could you let me know how it works?
